VF series Flow switches
The VF series flow switches contain only one moving part which results in an extremely reliable option for flow sensing applications. All VF series have now been SIL 3 safety rated and can be configured for use with gas or liquid media rated. The VF series utilizes an internal float and magnet assembly that is displaced upon fluid flow, the displacement of the magnetic field relative to an externally fixed reed switch results in opening or closing of the electrical contacts. The inline construction and availability in various end fittings simplifies integration of these products into systems.
V8F series (gas and liquid media): These versatile flow switches offer many options for a perfect fit into your application. These components are for applications in liquid or gaseous flows with either all-attitude or vertical mount. V8F’s are impervious to harsh chemicals because of their stainless steel or high purity engineering plastics construction. Their inline construction and availability in various end fittings simplifies integration of these products into a system.
V12F series (liquid): In applications with maximum system flows well above the desired set point, these flow switches offer low pressure drop. By using a large diameter bypass bore the pressure drop is reduced after switch actuation has occurred. With only one moving part the V12F series is designed for exceptional reliability. T he V12F presents a convenient solution to your high purity flow monitoring applications. Units are available with PVC or Stainless steel construction.
V13F series (liquid): The V13F series of flow switches offer features developed to ensure reliable performance in higher flow wet process systems. Designed specifically to handle higher fluid flows consistent with display and photovoltaic system requirements these products represent Precision Sensors higher flow capabilities. The V13F offers inline construction to simplify installation and integration while the PTFE, TFM and PFA wetted surfaces offer resistance to the harsh chemicals found in wet process applications.
