Returned Material Policy
To assure efficient handling of returned material, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. To obtain a return authorization number, please complete the form below or e-mail the following minimum information to the Service Department.

If Precision Sensors determines the unit(s) should be returned for rework or evaluation, an RMA number will be assigned. This number must appear on the shipping container as well as all paperwork associated with your return.
No merchandise may be returned without permission. Units returned to Precision Sensors without an RMA may be returned at customer’s expense.
Authorized returns must be prepaid unless other arrangements are approved in writing. We reserve the right to rebill for shipping and handling expenses for returns determined to be no fault found or customer responsibility.
For units returned in warranty and determined to be Precision Sensors responsibility, we may elect to issue full credit for the item in lieu of rework.
An analysis fee may be assessed for in-warranty returns determined to be customer responsibility or units that are out of warranty.
The customer must respond to evaluations and rework quotations in a timely manner (30 days) or be subject to material being returned with no work performed at their expense.
Unless otherwise specified, the standard warranty is 18 months after delivery by Seller (provided written notice of any defect is given to Precision Sensors within 30 days from the date such defect is first discovered), and is found to be defective in material or workmanship by our Inspection Department. Precision Sensors is not obligated under this warranty for alleged defects which examination discloses tampering, misuse, neglect, improper storage, normal wear and in any case where product is disassembled by anyone not authorized in writing by Precision Sensors.
