PV-M Series Vacuum Switch

The PV-M series of aerospace vacuum switches combines Precision Sensors proven industrial vacuum switch technology with a rugged package suitable for demanding vehicle applications. The series is composed of the PV20M and PV56M, together which cover nearly the entire range of pressure below atmospheric conditions. The proven polyimide and snap-action spring technology provide repeatable actuation and high cycle life. Hermetically sealed contacts are ideal when vapor ignition is a concern.

Typical uses include plenum vacuum systems, vacuum pump indication, vacuum manifold systems.

Typical media includes inert gasses.

For qualification information, please consult the sales or engineering departments.

Features

  • Intended for gaseous media (PV56M can also support liquid)
  • Wetted material include 300 series CRES and elastomer seal (varies by media)
  • Hermetically sealed contacts
  • Proven negative rate Belleville spring design for high cycle life and repeatability
